India extended its temporary closure


3 October 2011 - update regarding receipt of adoption applications in India

The Department for Education has received a further notification from the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), the Central Authority for adoption in India, that due to administrative reasons it will not be possible for CARA to receive adoption applications for a further period upto 31 December 2011 or until further notice from CARA.
